Wessex Ford and TrustFord win NFDA Green Dealer Awards

Wessex Ford and TrustFord were presented with green dealers of the year at the NFDA Spring Ball haled at the Grove in Hertfordshire on Saturday.

Wessex Ford won the Green Dealer Award (Under 10 sites). The award was presented to managing director Chris Wiseman.

Wessex Garages is a strong supporter of the Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme and was one of the first networks to have all of its sites accredited.

Trust Ford won the Green Dealer Award (over 10 sites). The award was presented to Stuart Mustoe, CEO of Trust Ford pictured right with NFDA chairman David Newman. Trust Ford has been accredited and re-accredited for its sites.

Industry Personality of the Year Award was won by Darren Edwards, CEO of Sytner for driving innovation within the industry and promoting the NFDA to dealers.

The Green Manufacturer of the Year Award was won by Kia Motors UK. The award recognised the steps taken by the brand to work closely with its dealer network and assist retailers in meeting the demand for alternative fuel vehicles.

The NFDA Chairman’s Award went to Gavin Forbes, group customer relations manager for Arnold Clark and the Industry Partner of the Year Award went to Auto Trader for its support to the automotive retailing sector.

The Ball raised over £2000 for industry charity, BEN through charitable donations.
