Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale leaked; could be called SF90 LM

The Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale has been revealed in all its glory for the first time ever. This leaked image comes courtesy of @sf90lm, who also claims that the new model is likely to be called the ‘SF90 LM’.

The SF90 LM (short for ‘Le Mans’) is a more track-focused version of the SF90 Stradale. As is clear from the image, the car features a bespoke exterior. The rear fascia has been redesigned completely. It has large extractor vents and a sleek LED light bar. It also gets a large, fixed spoiler at the back.

Ferrari has also reworked the engine cover on the SF90 LM. There are two square intakes up top and on the bonnet, while the ducts on the sides have been reprofiled. Additionally, the car also gets louvres on the fenders, side skirts and bespoke wheels.

The SF90 Versione Speciale is expected to get an upgraded version of Ferrari’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid. This unit produces 769 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque in the standard car. The internal combustion engine is assisted by two electric motors mounted at the front and one at the rear, adding another 217 hp for a combined output of 986 hp.

A few images of the production-spec SF90 Versione Speciale had leaked earlier as well. However, the latest pic comes from the factory floor.
